October 15, 2013 was Global Handwashing Day!

Over 200 million celebrated the day, from over 100 countries around the world.  To learn more about the annual celebration of Global Handwashing Day, click here.

ACE celebrated the day by partnering with Henry the Hand to make sure those in the Farragut Square area of Washington, D.C. were washing their hands before lunch! 

Ace Clean and Henry took to the square around noon, asking those out for lunch if they had washed their hands before eating.  Participants answered the survey, and then according to their answers took a picture with Ace Clean and Henry holding either a "My Hands are Clean" or a "Gross- I forgot to wash my hands" sign.   Of the 64 participants, 83% said they wash their hands before lunch!
