Posted July 3, 2018
On June 29th, ACE participated in the 3rd annual National Food Truck Day. Since its beginning in Arlington, Texas, National Food Truck Day has expanded to more than 20 major cities and includes over 800 participating food trucks. ACE joined the festivities by passing out flyers on worker safety, talking to food truck owners and staff about proper use, storage, and disposal of products, and giving out ACE branded antimicrobial wipes.
“The passion of food truck workers and staff to provide the best food led to great conversations on product safety and creating clean environemnts,” Haley Diamond, Manager, program development and communications, stated.
ACE’s commercial settings program, developed in early 2018, launched in May of this year. The program provides information and education to empower workers and prevent accidents.
“Moving forward, our expanded role of protecting workers is a natural continuation of educating individuals on the products they use to ultimately improve lives,” Sara Stickler, Executive Director, said. "Through events like this, ACE’s message can reach more people and have an even deeper impact."
The commercial settings program will debut it in its entirety in early 2019.
