Gregory Munsch (age 29)

My son, Gregory Munsch, was found dead of a cardiac arrhythmia from the chemicals in the inhalant that he was addicted to. Abusing inhalants via huffing can result in irregular and rapid heart rhythms, which lead to heart failure in moments. Inhalants kill; an abuser can die on their first attempt. It’s like playing Russian roulette with your life.
My son was 29 years old when he died. His body was found one day before his 30th birthday. Gregory had been in rehab for inhalant abuse earlier in the year and was doing quite well. He was a bright, smart young man.
I wouldn't wish this on any parent. Greg was my first-born child; I lost him. I miss him all day, every day. I hate the fact that he died alone and I hate the fact that I couldn't be there to help. I also hate that inhalants are readily available to anyone who is aware of their dangerous, deadly effects. No mother deserves to go through what I go through on a daily basis. He is my every thought and I miss and love him so.
