The Alliance for Consumer Education teamed up with the Dayton Dragons and the Millard Family to help Strike Out Inhalant Abuse in Dayton, Ohio. 

To honor and remember their son, Matthew Young, the Millard Family was present at the Strike Out Inhalant Abuse game.  Matt struggled with inhalant abuse before losing his battle to substance abuse addiction in 2013.  Matt wanted to help spread awareness of the dangers of inhalant abuse in hopes of helping others avoid and overcome this addiction. The partnership with the Dayton Dragons allowed for his family and ACE to continue his wishes and help spread awareness and education in the Dayton area. 

Matt's younger brother, Chris, threw out the first pitch on June 13th in Matt's memory. Dragons player Jeff Gelalich helped spread awareness through an Inhalant Abuse Prevention Public Service Announcement.  ACE was present before the game to hand out educational materials to fans as they entered the ballpark.  Fans were also asked to sign the Strike Out Inhalant Abuse Pledge.  Help spread awareness by signing the pledge online here.  For more pictures from the event visit ACE on Facebook!
