ACE would like to congratulate New Jersey’s Minor League baseball team the Trenton Thunderas their Major League team affiliate; the New York Yankees secured the franchise’s 27th World Series Championship title last month. Over the course of the 2009 MLB World Series, the Thunder had 23 former players suit up for the Yankees, with nearly half appearing on the team’s active roster.

ACE teamed up with the Thunder last summer to host a “Striking Out Inhalant Abuse Awareness Night,” dedicated to educating the local community of the dangers associated with inhalant abuse.

The Thunder has been affiliated with the New York Yankees since 2003. They remain the only Double-A Minor League team to have successfully drawn over 6 million in attendance over its 15-year history.
